Sandhya Raju, who,won the national award for best choreography for ‘Natyam’ has started her career as a dancer before making her debut with the period film, Natyam, that revolves around classical dance. Sandhya Raju is the daughter of PR Venketrama Raja, is the Chairman of Ramco Group; her father-in-law, Byrraju Ramalinga Raju, is the founder of Satyam Computers Services Ltd.
Sandhya Raju dance guru is Padma Bhushan awardee, Vempati Chinna Satyam, an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer whom she began learning at the age of Nine. . For Natyam movie, she dons multiple hats: that of a production designer, stylist, choreographer and even producer besides the movie has been directed by Revanth Korukonda.
