Australia vs England - Match Highlights | ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

Watch full highlights of the Australia vs England at Edgbaston, Semi-Final 2 of the 2019 Cricket World Cup. England had contentedly outplayed their arch-rivals Australia, with both bat and ball and chased a 224-run target in 32.1 overs with 8 wickets remaining.

Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow, however, set the base for the successful run-chase, yet again with a century-stand. Bairstow though struggled, but Jason Roy exhibited his batting prowess with some attractive, free-flowing stroke play: the flicks, the swings and the drives were at their glorious best. Roy countered the leg breaks of Steven Smith with a hat trick of sixes, with one over the roof at Edgbaston. On Sunday, Lord's awaits England and New Zealand, and cricket, a new champion.

England opener Jason Roy has been fined 30 percent of his match fee for breaching Level One of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second semi-final against Australia in Manchester on Thursday (July 11). Two demerit points have also been added to his disciplinary record for the transgression.

As per the ICC, "Roy was found to have breached Article 2.8 ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to showing dissent at an umpires decision in an international match. In addition to the 30% fine, two demerit points have been added to Roy's disciplinary record."
